Okay, so maybe you’re stuck in the middle of needing to rent a dumpster or a very, very large trash can. (I promise, the dumpster will be more convenient!) Have you considered pooling together with neighbors? friends? family? a school or local association you’re involved in? First, the more people involved, the better your cost if you decide to split it! Second, you won’t feel so guilty turning in a not-quite-so-full dumpster that took you all weekend to load up..by yourself. Third – the more, the merrier right? Getting rid of stuff isn’t exactly fun, but it is very rewarding and with the right company you can have a great time doing it! Make it a weekend project!

As mentioned before, consider asking a group to get together – more than likely there are TONS of people ready to get rid of their junk but they’ve been putting it off because to rent a dumpster seems kind of outrageous. Offering to split costs is a tempting deal to the people who are really ready to clear out and get a fresh start!
